INCIDENT MANAGEMENT SITUATION REPORT

CURRENT SITUATION: The Southern Area continued to experience moderate initial attack and large fire activity. Minimal fire activity was reported elsewhere. Four units in southern California continue to report very high to extreme fire indices.

SOUTHERN AREA LARGE FIRES:

BOB SPUR, Virginia National Forests. Current threats are to timber and watershed.

OUTLOOK:

California will be dry and breezy with northwest winds. Temperatures will be in the mid 50's and 60's in the mountains, 70's to mid 80's in the coastal valleys and 80's in the inland valleys and deserts.

A stationary cold front will extend from central Florida to southwest Louisiana. Dry, cool and breezy conditions are forecast, except for a chance of showers and thunderstorms in Louisiana. Temperatures will be near 60 in Kentucky to the 70's in north Florida.
