CURRENT SITUATION: Minimal initial attack activity was reported in California. Three units in the Southern California Area reported very high fire indices.
OUTLOOK:
A FIRE WEATHER WATCH HAS BEEN POSTED FOR THIS EVENING THROUGH MONDAY IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA DUE TO SANTA ANA WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITIES BELOW COASTAL BASIN CANYONS AND PASSES.
A high pressure system will build into California bringing mostly sunny skies, warm temperatures, and drier conditions. Gusty north to northeast winds of up to 35 MPH are predicted in the central and southern parts of the state. Temperatures will be in the 50's and 60's in the mountains and the 70's and 80's in the valleys and southern deserts.
Louisiana will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Mississippi will be partly cloudy and breezy with a chance of showers in the southeast. Kentucky and northern Florida will be partly cloudy with isolated showers near the eastern Florida coast. High temperatures will be in the 80's throughout the area.
